Modigliani

Not really a caricature this, more a straight representation of the great artist Amedeo Modigliani. It wasn't drawn from a single image but is a composite using a few different source images as pointers—which, incidentally, is how I usually go about creating my caricatures.

Cowpoke Head (updated)

Thought I'd chuck some more colour at this. It may not look like it but have tried some new approaches within it...

Taz 4 Dylan

Just over a month ago an old friend died suddenly from a fall caused by a seizure. He was a a big fan of Taz and back in at the beginning of this century I created a birthday card for him which depicted Taz made-up as Darth Maul (The Phantom Menace having only just recently come out). The original card was far more basic and which was a flat coloured ink drawing (see below). Now, as a tribute to him, I've recreated it with more detail and effect. If you can see it, Dyl, I hope you like it.

Too Close!

...for comfort.
This was one of the very first images I created a couple of years ago, back when I got my Cintiq. I was trying new techniques (for me) such as photoshop textures and patterns. That weapon looks mighty weird and dysfunctional (as do the fingers), but I still like the pose and general effect. Onward!

Rarely Festive Mean

"Oh, there's more to life than Mean Machine Angel", she said, "...but not much more - not much more."

I can never let too much time go by before I draw/create another Mean Angel pic...and here one is! Many thanks to you who have checked into my little blog in the small time it's been running. That's it from me for 2013, but come back in the New Year for lots more stuff - all in varying styles, no doubt.

Have a grand Christmas/New Year - Cheers!
