Too Close!

...for comfort.
This was one of the very first images I created a couple of years ago, back when I got my Cintiq. I was trying new techniques (for me) such as photoshop textures and patterns. That weapon looks mighty weird and dysfunctional (as do the fingers), but I still like the pose and general effect. Onward!

Triple Cowpoke!

Strange folk abroad in the misty swamps...
Patterns in photoshop are great to add time saving details and effects. I pulled this old drawing from the virtual sketchpad to try some pattern making in the shirt, face, hat and neckerchief. Also added a bit of shadow to help create some volume...good fun.

Skull City Defence Girls

Some recent colouring up. Really love the effect but it's still taking too long to execute. The idea is to get the process time down to where it could be commercially viable. Not there yet...
Process for the inking stage can be found here:

Rarely Festive Mean

"Oh, there's more to life than Mean Machine Angel", she said, "...but not much more - not much more."

I can never let too much time go by before I draw/create another Mean Angel pic...and here one is! Many thanks to you who have checked into my little blog in the small time it's been running. That's it from me for 2013, but come back in the New Year for lots more stuff - all in varying styles, no doubt.

Have a grand Christmas/New Year - Cheers!
